Hi... my name is Laura and being 22 I just bought my dream car 4 days ago. It has been a dream for me since I was sixteen. I used to know a dealer in Mass. Where I used to live that would let me pay him for the day to take one all day. I moved to California and have been here a year with my boyfriend in the middle of the desert and am finally moving home. I bought the car with my boyfriends help just in time to have it to drive across country. A couple days after buying the car their was trouble with the switch sending the signal that the tonneau cover was shut. Which resulted in the quarter windows staying back. Due to this site, we were able to locate a spyder tech and we fixed the problem ourselves instaed of spending 750.00 each for new latch switches.....Thank You very much!!! Laura
Hey, I leased an Emerald Pearl Green 1997 3000GT VR-4. I love(d) that car more than anything!!! I went to the ECG2K and had the best of times, aside from a $520 speeding ticket for racing a Nissan Skyline and a Harley. Unfortunately, being a lease I had to let it go after 3 years. In July of 2001 I bought a BMW 3 series coupe, but I still miss my 3000GT and within the next year or so I definitely need a VR-4 Spyder. I currently have a 94 pearl yellow VR4 and I luv it to death, and am looking into buying either a 95 Spyder or Lancer EVO VII, whichever is cheaper...I already own a 2001 Montero Limited, and am looking at completing my Mitsu collection... I have a 95 3000GT Spyder and love it.. It has 58,000 miles which should be about all that it will get for a while. I plan on not driving it much.. But at 50,000 miles I had to put a Transmission and Converter in it. Other than normal maintaince it has been a perfect car...

hey i am a huge 3000gt vr4 spyder fan. Can anyone please tell me what year these were made? were they made after 96? i know they made vr4's in 99 but did they make vr4 spyders?

The Mitsubishi 3000GT is one out of five of my favorite cars. I think that it is the coolest car on earht, and then it has this lovely motor... it just have the best sound. I would say that " A LEGEND HAS BEEN BORN"

Howdy, folks. I just ran across this site - a pleasant surprise! I lusted after a VR4 Spyder ever since they were first mentioned in the press (I already owned a Mitsu Galant VR4 and was primed for AWD, AWS and a little more power and style), and was happy to score the first one from my dealer in August 1995. I've had it ever since and continue to enjoy it. No problems to speak of, either. It's such a solid set of whells I have trouble thinking of it as exotic (except on the rare occasions when I can really get on it in third, heh heh!). I'm looking forward to many more miles. I have owned a 1993 VR4 for since April 1993. I have really loved it but it has 97,000 miles. Recently, while getting the oil changed at a Mitsubishi dealership a salesman came up to me and wanted to show me what he had on the floor. It was the owner's 1995 Spyder with just a little over 16,000 miles on it! It was red like my car. I made a buying decision on that one in about 30 seconds. I love the car. Hi, I have just purchased a Black 1995 Mitsubishi 3000gt Vr4 SPYDER. I can't believe I actually own this great beautiful car. I picked it up in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. I live in Key West. I have email the picures to the site Moderator. They should be on soon. Also to make things even better, my brother also is also buying a white VR-4 Spyder today. I owned a 93' Base Stealth about 5 years ago, and my brother owned a 94' pearl yellow RT/TT about a year ago. Ever since our first look at a Spyder in 98' at the East Coast gathering we have wanted nothing else other than the VR-4 Spyder. I will keep everyone updated on the news. I love these cars. Got mine a couple of days ago in Orlando. It is a Pearl White 96 VR4 Spyder with tan interior. I love it. It's completely stock and completely beautiful. My brother and I drove his black vr4 spyder from Key West up to Orlando, bought mine and drove back down the keys. It was the most fun I've had.
