Spyder Object in Trunk Sensor

The following are scans from the Spyder service manual.  This could be used by the creative electrical types to bypass the sensor and it's $1,500 repair bill.  Not that I'm advocating such a thing...but if you want to do it, you simply need to short the circuit between pins 1 and 2.  This can be done with a piece of wire.  Make sure to wrap it in tape to prevent short circuits with the chassis.  This could be the simplest repair in all of Spyderhood!  (Thanks to Matt J. for the hints.)
